Our avalanche awareness education is a 2 day course with a combination of classroom and field sessions. The course is designed to target snowmobile riders, focusing on how to travel in back-country on motorized machine safely.

• Avalanche Education:
  • Identify avalanche terrain
  • Decision making process
  • Forecast website and map tools that will help you to make a plan to travel in back-country
  • Dig snow pit and learn more about snow science
  • Avalanche rescue method on motorized machine
  • How to use beacon, probe, shovel and avalanche airbags
  • Additional tools/skills that might help when travel in back-country

Our instructors all have extensive back-country experience with AIARE certification. They have back-country experience from wildness in Alaska to all kinds of Colorado terrain. We are devoted to provide affordable avalanche education to snowmobile riders so we can travel more safely while have lots of fun in the powder!
